From Mankato, Minnesota
First show since since October 16, 2011 • Fourth show on MN Live's calendar since August 10, 2009
From last.fm:
Useful Jenkins is a spirited group that mixes campfire mystique along with a driven acoustic rock show. Their music takes you back to the front porch with a jug of shine and a foot stompin good time. The bands original songs are well crafted and will stick in your head long after the show. Their nicely placed cover tunes span their influences which include Yonder Mountain, Grateful Dead, and some traditional bluegrass. This is a show that will make you wanna kick off your shoes and dance away... Useful Jenkins on Last.fm.
Fairfax, AK
From Minneapolis
First show since since February 6, 2012 • First Fine Line show since July 23, 2011 • Fifth show on MN Live's calendar since July 23, 2011
From last.fm:
Pat Dougherty began writing songs in a borrowed storage closet. Tinkering with only a borrowed drum set and an old organ, he would periodically emerge to share the works in progress to handful of close friends that would later become Fairfax, AK. After spending the summer performing around the Midwest, the group retreated to an attic in a worn, yellow house in Frogtown and began crafting their upcoming debut album, Love Stories and Picture Shows.
