"My mother says I was a genius baby. At two years old, at about five in the morning, before my parents would get up, I'd pick out a 45 record from my vast collection and throw it on the Fisher-Price turntable (labeled RECORD PLAYER by my mother in giant Sharpie letters), fire that baby up and get on my squeaky hobby horse. I'd do that for about two hours until I got lonely (or hungry)and wanted my Mom, at which time I would crawl into her bed and wake her up. Read more about Jennifer Markey on Last.fm.

From last.fm:
The six song EP Orbital Amusement sonically delights with ray-gun and sputnik sounds, layered vocals and fuzzy pitch-bending guitars. While reminiscent of classics (Led Zeppelin I, Flash Gordon-era Queen), more modern sounds like that of The Black Keys, Wolfmother and Smashing Pumpkins abound on this heavy, lustful yet astral collection. With "Of Mind and Matter" (Eclectone Records) Little Man has combined the big hooks of classic Brit-Pop with something uniquely fresh. Read more about Little Man on Last.fm.
Slim Dunlap
From Minnesota
First Twin Cities show since since November 20, 2011 • Seventh Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since November 21, 2007
From last.fm:
Slim Dunlap is a rockabilly guitarist popular in the Minneapolis bar scene. He was a logical choice to join the Replacements in 1987, after the ousting of Bob Stinson. He served on the last 2 albums that the band put together. His 2 solo efforts are filled with fantastic music & lyrics that would make Keith Richards proud. Currently Slim is living in South Minneapolis in a cozy little hideaway with his wife Chrissie. Read more about Slim Dunlap on Last.fm.
