The band consists of Jordan Gatesmith (vocals, guitar), Max Petrek (keyboard), Ian Nygaard (guitar), France Camp (bass) and Brent Mayes (drums). The Free Drunk Songfacts reports that on the strength of an EP and their live show, the quintet were signed by Rough Trade Records. Prissy Clerks are a Minneapolis based band made up of former members of Red Pens, Total Babe, and Teenage Strangler. They won the 2012 Vita.mn "Are You Local?" contest, and have performed at South by Southwest.
