Joey Ryan & the Inks hail from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota where they have garnered a reputation as one of the top up-and-coming bands. Their debut album 'Well, Here We Are Then' was a Top-ten release of 2009 in both of the major Twin Cities newspapers (#2 - St. Paul Pioneer Press, #10 - Minneapolis Star Tribune) and they have been recognized as one of the three 'Best New Local Bands' by Twin Cities weekly Arts & Entertainment magazine Vita.MN. Consolation Champ is a Minnesota-based rock group. The band consists of John Richards on guitar and vocals, Matt Mitchell on bass and vocals, and Rick Nordquist on drums and vocals. As of late 2007, Chris Mitchell is also playing with the band, adding lead guitar parts. Singer-songwriter John Richards released a self-titled album ('John Richards') of acoustic songs before deciding to expand to the sound of a full band, recruitng Matt and Rick.
