Larry and His Flask
From Redmond, Oregon
First Twin Cities show since since October 10, 2011 • First Mainroom show
From last.fm:
"Larry & His Flask are like no band I’ve ever seen (which seems to be the general consensus). As soon as Jamin says “Hello everybody we’re Larry & His Flask!” and the first song begins people are glued to the stage. Everyone is watching with smiles and wide eyes. People are looking at their friends shaking their heads with looks on their faces that say: “What the hell is this?!“ When all 6 members are on stage they are truly a sight to behold. The Goddamn Gallows
From Michigan
First Twin Cities show since since December 7, 2010 • First Mainroom show • Third Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since August 8, 2009
From last.fm:
The Goddamn Gallows began on a cold, dark and violent night in Lansing, Michigan, when 3 kids met in a face-scarring fight with Benton Harbor gangbangers at a notorious East Lansing flophouse. They then migrated across the country, residing in LA squats and smoke stained apartments. They are currently ravaging the states with their unique sound of furious, twanged-out, punk rock gutterbilly. Watch for them on corners, clubs and city jails in your town. The Reverend Horton Heat is both an American three-piece psychobilly band from Dallas, Texas, and the stage name of its singer/songwriter, Jim Heath (born in 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas). The group originally formed in 1985, playing its first gigs in Dallas's Deep Ellum neighborhood. Its current members are Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath on guitar and lead vocals, Jimbo Wallace on the upright bass, and Scott Churilla on drums.
