From last.fm:
There are two bands called The Slow Death. 1) The Slow Death is a melodic death doom metal band from Blue Mountains, Australia with both male and female vocals, formed by Stuart Prickett (mastermind of Elysium and Stone Wings) in 2007. Their style is ultra slow death/doom with melodic riffs, powerful deep growls, grandiose female vocals and tragical lyrics. The atmosphere is mournful and dark. The guitars are magnificent with perfect riffs, amazing melodies and rhythm changes. The melodies are melancholic passages of perpetual depression. Read more about The Slow Death on Last.fm.

There are several bands with the name Dingus: 1) Dingus was a hardcore/punk band from NJ whose songs range from the infantile to the painfully misanthropic. Influenced by hardcore bands from the early eighties, Dingus formed in 2003 by vocalist/bassist Pete Russo and guitarist Frank Krov. Drummer Ben joined later. Songs are fast and short. After 4 years of a mostly inactive state, Dingus has recorded a self-titled CD with 13 songs condensed into 12 minutes. http://www.myspace.com/syrum114 2) Alt.country band from Drammen, Norway. Arms Aloft is a punk rock band from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Although influenced by artists such as Jawbreaker and Hot Water Music, it would be safe to say that they have their own Midwestern take on punk. Expect big things from Arms Aloft. In 2008 the band released their first 7'', "Comfort At Any Cost" on Dead Format. In 2012 the band released their first full length "Sawdust City" on Kiss of Death.
