From last.fm:

National Bird was a Sydney, Australia based indie rock band active from 1999 to 2007. It featured Dileep Krishnayya (vocals & guitar) , Tobey Doctor (drums), and either zero, one or two bass players. The band was originally named Laissez Faire but they changed the name after a line-up change and due to the numerous other bands also using that name. Read more about National Bird on Last.fm.
