Born in the swamps of New Jersey, the Hudson Falcons are following a sound that can only be achieved by playing more than 1,300 shows from the Jersey Shore to Germany. The influences of the road have clearly found their way through the well-worn tires of the band van and into the Falcons’ music. More than ever, there are traces of South Texas and a little bit of heartland stomp mixing in with the New Jersey soul and swagger that has come to symbolize the Falcons and brought them a loyal following both in the United States and abroad. Independent Progress is a Street Rock n' Roll band from Minneapolis, MN. We've been around since 2001, been through a few line up changes, but still intact. We don't spend alot of time singing about a 2 week relationship that ended sadly when we were in 7th grade. The radio and mainstream kind of have that market cornered, so instead we tend to stick to real life topics. Most of our songs are heavily influenced by being workers. It's what we know.
