From last.fm:

The van Gobots were conceived on the fourth of July, 2007 in the back of a minivan. They released their debut EP in September of 2008 and their follow-up full-length record, Guantanamo Beach Party was released in September of 2009. Guantanamo Beach Party spent one month in the CMJ Top 200 with a peak chart position of #128. After the departure of original drummer Keith Lacock, the band downsized from a quartet and reemerged as a trio in 2012, with Nick Geier converting from guitar to drums.
