Gabriel and the Apocalypse
From Minneapolis
First show on MN Live's calendar
From last.fm:
Minneapolis rockers Gabriel and the Apocalypse are fronted by female vocalist Lindy Gabriel and are armed and ready to bring down the Armageddon of rock. New ideas shake off the doldrums of lackluster, derivative music. “We want to have more of an edge to our music," says Lindy, "and try new ideas.” Gabriel and the Apocalypse eschew complacency in the world of mainstream convention, seeking instead to break the shackles of “present-day radio formulas” and show audiences what music can really do in the hands of finely honed talent. Stellar Vector
From Minnesota
First Twin Cities show since since August 15, 2007 • First Triple Rock show • Seventh Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since August 30, 2005
From last.fm:
If we were telling the polished and whimsical Reader’s Digest version of alternative-rock-electronica powerhouse Stellar Vector’s rise on the Minneapolis indie scene, it would start with founding members Charles Sadler (vocals, keyboards) and Jonathan Ford (rhythm guitar) playing together for the first time at First Avenue—a venue Prince has played many times and used as a principal locale for Purple Rain.
