There are two bands called The Slow Death. 1) The Slow Death is a melodic death doom metal band from Blue Mountains, Australia with both male and female vocals, formed by Stuart Prickett (mastermind of Elysium and Stone Wings) in 2007. Their style is ultra slow death/doom with melodic riffs, powerful deep growls, grandiose female vocals and tragical lyrics. The atmosphere is mournful and dark. Their members play or have played in a bunch of other bands (The Soviettes, Rivethead, Banner Pilot, The Self Polluters, Supermanure, The Salteens), so they are a "super" group in the same sense that McDonalds Ketchup is "fancy".
