Then we played our first gig in Minneapolis when I was 15 and my dad showed up and smelled .” Not many bands lock into their sound in high school or manage to hang together for seven years, but Heiruspecs has and now the young 20-somethings are seasoned vets. From last.fm:

Minneapolis based Black Blondie is a band in the purest sense of the word: the tightly knit four-piece unit collectively writes and performs all of their music. She has a voice that would serve any American Idol three times over but lyrics that shock with wit and intellect. You may be reminded of the poetic confessions of a Midwestern emo boy who makes you wanna rip your heart out and cradle it in your hand... Read more about Black Blondie on Last.fm.
