Theres at least 2 bands named The Crash 1) A band hailing from Turku, Finland, composed of Teemu Brunila (vocals/guitars), Samuli Haataja (bass/vocals) and Erkki Kaila (drums). At the end of the last century The Crash got their first album out: "Comfort Deluxe". The most well known was probably "Sugared" with a stylish music video that actually won some awards in Finland (Gayest Video in Finland Award by Vinoraati). The band toured internationally as well, and word spread around. In 2002 the second album "Wildlife" came out, "Lauren caught my eye" could be heard all over Europe. B U R N S was born in Glasgow on Halloween in 1985. His mother was an artist and painter. His father was a professional heavyweight boxer. Growing up, watching both parents work made a deep impression on BURNS and combined to give him an appreciation of both beauty and power, a combination that comes through in his own work, in his love of melody and of sonic impact. B U R N S began making music at age twelve, playing guitar and keyboards before discovering sampling as a teenager. Again his parents diverse tastes served him well. Read more about BURNS on Last.fm.
