Arcwelder are a Minneapolis trio who began under the moniker Tilt-a-Whirl in 1988. Drummer/singer Scott MacDonald was a veteran of the Minneapolis scene serving time in numerous bands including Red Letter Day and Velvet Elvis before hooking up with bassist/guitarist Rob Graber to form Arcwelder. NEW RELEASE: We Built a Fortress on Short Notice CD/LP street date tues, nov 6th, 2012 self-evident are signed to US label, doubleplusgood as well as Stiff Slack Records in Japan. In the time since their last release (2009’s Endings), Minneapolis trio Self-Evident have been busy touring. They spent a month playing shows throughout Europe, in addition to several US tours.
