Blood Root Mother is an American rock band from Buffalo, MN. The group was formed by Rob during his teenage years at Buffalo High School. The sound has evolved for about five years, and now it is simply five individuals with very diverse musical tastes, exploring our world of sound as only we can, and striving to stand on the shoulders of the greats. As John Coltrane said, "The main thing a musician would like to do is to give a picture to the listener of the many wonderful things he knows of and senses in the universe". The Rhinestone Diplomats are an original Minnesota Roots/Americana/Rock quintet featuring Aaron Cabbage, Gene Hollister and Steve Wold on the vocals, guitars, mandolin & whatever else may fall in their lap, while the tasty low end is a blend of vibrations and rhythms created jointly by bassist Dave Wickiser and drummer Randy Olejnicak. The RD’s have grown from humble beginnings as an acoustic duo playing Minneapolis coffee shops, to performing at some of Minnesota’s legendary rock clubs including First Avenue, The Cabooze & The Fine Line Music Cafe.
