Members Christy Hunt (Von Bondies, Ouija Radio) Arzu Gokcen (Selby Tigers), Jacques Wait (Twilight Hours, Iguano, Magnatone), Charles Gehr (Seawhores, Marijuana Deathsquads, Ouija Radio, Jazz Man's Needle, Mid Carson July) formed in January 2010. With no products available to the public at the time, this band became a regional interest due to live performances and song writing alone. Their eponymous debut album was released July 5, 2011. The Magic Castles are a psychedelic rock band which formed in 2006 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The band is the musical project of songwriter Jason Edmonds. The band has released three albums, "The Lore of Mysticore" (2008), "Dreams of Dreams of Dreams" (2009) and "Songs of the Forest" (2009) all of which are out of print. Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre signed the band to his imprint "A" Records in 2011 and their eponymous fourth record (a collection of previously released tunes) was released in 2012.
