In the time since their last release (2009’s Endings), Minneapolis trio Self-Evident have been busy touring. They spent a month playing shows throughout Europe, in addition to several US tours. Dallas Orbiter is a Minneapolis-based quintet exploring the cusp between sophisticated pop songwriting and modern, spaced-out psychedelia. The group began with long Krautrock and electric Miles Davis-inspired space jam sessions in the late nineties featuring singer and guitarist Mark Miller, bassist/guitarist Daniel Gahres, Rhodes piano and analog synth master Jonathan Schmig, and drummer Greg Flanagan. All The Way Rider was formed in 2005 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by former Align member Jeremy Jessen on vocals/guitar, along with drummer Rocky De Vries, bassist Scott Walters, and guitarist Bill Collins. 2006 saw the release of their self-titled debut EP and later Lahuna in 2007. The band went on to become a trio with the departure of Bill Collins before they released the second full length album "The Eagle's Revenge" in 2008. Their sound can be best described as a mix of driving rock and dreamy atmospherics, bearing similarities to 90s post-hardcore and space rock. Read more about All The Way Rider on Last.fm.
