City on the Make is a band from South Minneapolis, Minnesota comprised of childhood friends Mischa Keegan (guitar, vocals), Mike Massey (vocals), Stephen Rowe (bass, vocals), and Colin Stumbras (drums). Making music together for years, the band City on the Make emerged onto the Minneapolis scene in 2004. Purists may disagree (or give a resounding cheer, depending), but City on the Make is a "blues" band in the truest sense - raw soul channeled through musicians by way of their hands, voices, and messages of a hard-lived working-class world. The Magic Castles are a psychedelic rock band which formed in 2006 in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. The band is the musical project of songwriter Jason Edmonds. The band has released three albums, "The Lore of Mysticore" (2008), "Dreams of Dreams of Dreams" (2009) and "Songs of the Forest" (2009) all of which are out of print. Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre signed the band to his imprint "A" Records in 2011 and their eponymous fourth record (a collection of previously released tunes) was released in 2012. They have self-released 3 cd's. vi·gnette /v?n--y?t/ [vin-yet] Since their inception in 2006, The Vignettes have been rising through the ranks of the Sydney live scene with their twisted take on garage rock and visually entertaining show impressing all in their wake.
