Ryan Ruff Smith is a singer-songwriter from Golden Valley, Minnesota. Ryan plays a stripped-down variety of tightly arranged pop songs, lyrically often wistful character pieces. He is also a guitarist and singer for the indie pop ensemble Spencer McGillicutty. Brian Laidlaw is a songwriter from San Francisco, & a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota MFA program in poetry. His newest album, called wolf wolf wolf, was written as a musical counterpart to his poetry thesis, & was produced by Brett Bullion (Zoo Animal, Haley Bonar, Dark Dark Dark).
