They write tin can and twine romances in a color of rust with backdrops of long wind swept open roads framed by tangled barbed wire and naked telephone poles. Their songs are of ashtray broken hearts and lansdscapes of beauty and sorrow borrowing harmonies from old eastern europe, the desert southwest and the sentiments of working class rust belt americana. they are also really into pompous descriptions. Beginning in 2005, Thomas Maddux began to play with minor chords and darker tones. This came to fruition in 2010 with the release of the Circus EP as El Le Faunt. Joining him now is His Traveling Circus which is composed of Cody D. Fitzpatrick I on Percussion, Charlotte Matis on Mandolin and Fiddle, Tom Reinert on Bass, Aleko Loughrey on Guitar, Jonah the Destroyer on Melodica, Clarinet, and Saw, Turkeyes Laffity with her back-up vocals, and Tyler Nordmark on Brass.
