From last.fm:

There are at least two bands called Gloss. 1) Gloss were a Liverpool-based indie-pop band that released one album in 2001. The group's multi-national line-up included Paul Cavanagh (guitar), Martin Lynch (bass), Paul Maguire (drums), Jonas Theis (keyboards) and Heidrun Anna (vocals). They wrote and recorded songs that are timeless pop - rich in melody and drawn from influences such as The Beach Boys, Burt Bacharach, Television, Stereolab, Barry White, Carole King, Blondie, Françoise Hardy, Air and Madonna. From last.fm:

Ghost In The Water creates intimate, charming electronic pop, suspended between the twin poles of childlike enthusiasm and haunted memories. Like gazing upward at a star-filled sky while weighed down by the responsibilities of the everyday, their music is simultaneously uplifting and bruised with longing. Appearing on stage as a duo of Nathan Tensen-Woolery and Mandy Tensen-Woolery, Ghost In The Water seeks partnership with a tangle of extension chords, synthesizers, samplers, guitars and vocal harmonies.
