A Night in the Box hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of Afternoon Records. The band consists of Clayton Hagen (vocals, Gibson), Travis Hetman (vocals electric/acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica, etc.), Alex Dalton (drums), and Kailyn Spencer (violin). Their music is a refreshingly energetic mix of bluegrass and folk rock, incorporating stomping, clapping, and sweet harmonization to their tunes. Here is our story: In the cut throat culture of the new world aristocracy, The Minneapolis Henrys were cast out by their well-to-do family for possessing what Robert Murdoch, patriarch of The Horse Shoe Lake Henrys, deemed "a rebellious and incorrigible spirit that may very well sully the Henrys' name for the rest of our days."
