Nathan Williams, under the name Wavves, is a musician based in San Diego, California. He released his self-titled debut LP in 2008 and has since gained notable media attention from the internet, and other areas including Pitchfork and ABC News. Originally signed to Fat Possum Records, he released his second full-length album Wavvves with them in 2009 and his third album, King Of The Beach, on August 3rd 2010. FIDLAR are a lo-fi garage/surf rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of lead singer/guitarist Zac Carper, guitarists Brandon Schwartzel and Elvis Kuehn and his brother, the drummer, Max Kuehn. They have released two official EPs - 'DIYDUI' (Called 'FIDLAR - EP' on iTunes) (2011), and 'Don't Try' (2012), the first on White Iris and the second on Mom+Pop. 'DIYDUI', 'Don't Try' and pre-album compilation EP 'Shit We Recorded in Our Bedroom' rereleased tracks from previous demo EPs 'Fuck It Dog', 'Forget it Dad', 'Life's a Risk' and 'Life's All Right'. Cheatahs frontman Nathan Hewitt and guitarist James Wignall met eight years ago while working in a Camden pub, and instantly bonded over their shared passion for music and Seinfeld. Nathan had just moved to London from his hometown of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada, while James, originally from Leicester, had moved to the capital after studying in Leeds. Fast-forward six years––each having played in various bands in between––and the friends finally began to work seriously together when Nathan asked James to collaborate on a batch of songs he’d been working on.
