The band consists of Clayton Hagen (vocals, Gibson), Travis Hetman (vocals electric/acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica, etc.), Alex Dalton (drums), and Kailyn Spencer (violin). Their music is a refreshingly energetic mix of and , incorporating stomping, clapping, and sweet harmonization to their tunes. Their sophomore album, Write A Letter, was released on May 27th, 2008. The Parlour Suite is a Minneapolis folk rock duo in the vein of The Mamas and the Papas, who they list as one of their major influences. They have a self released album called "Rainmaker" which includes the catchy sweet sounds of "Navy Queen". Murzik is a Dark Folk / neofolk band formed in Minneapolis, Minneapolis in 2003. The band started out by experimenting with mixing old eastern European folk and midwest Americana sounds together to form a sound which they coined as Dark Folk. Murzik claims its influences from more traditional artists such as Vysotsky, Leonard Cohen, and Edith Piaf which can be seen in Murziks romanticized soundscapes and dark poetic lyrics.
