The Crinn, was first formed during August of 2005 in St. Paul, MN, out of a frustration with the average and mundane, breakdown oriented metal scene. Several of the band members are self taught instrumentalists, and took no traditional music training prior to their formation. Their decision to use an explorative style, without concern for genre exclusivity has enabled the band to evolve and grow in a way that other stylized bands cannot. The Nerves refers to three bands: 1. A mid-'70s power pop trio based in Los Angeles, California, featuring guitarist Jack Lee, bassist Peter Case, and drummer Paul Collins. In the earlier of the three bands all three members (Jack Lee, Peter Case, and Paul Collins) composed songs and sang. They managed a national tour, including a few dates with The Ramones, but they lasted just a short time and self-released only one self-titled four-song EP in 1976... Maeth is the name of a heavy/progressive/psychedelic band from St. Paul, Minnesota. Their lineup currently consists of four members: Boone Epstein (Bass), Sam Tygiel (Guitar/flute), David Ports (Guitar), and Jay Schwartz (Drums). To date, they have released two albums: Horse Funeral (2012) and Oceans Into Ashes (2013). They draw from an eclectic blend of influences and their own diverse musical backgrounds and combine them into a uniquely heavy, psychedelic/blackened doom sound, often referred to as "Crunch n' Cream.
