From last.fm:

The band started in the punk scene of Minneapolis around 1990 and lasted until ~1995. Their best known tracks are on the Minneapolis-saint paul compilation "NO Slow...ALL GO" which featured most bands currently playing when it was put together in 1995. Others made famous from the compilation include Dillinger Four. There seems to be a new band trying to steal the name: The band started out in april 2005 during a schoolproject in 8th grade. From last.fm:

Bombsite was formed in 1993 after the break-up of the Porcelain Boys, the previous band of bassist Scott Cook. Influenced by bands like Jawbreaker, Monsula, Dag Nasty, Leatherface, and Naked Raygun, Bombsite once characterized themselves as "East Bay meets DC and they don't get along." The band dissolved in 1995 after releasing a 7-song demo cassette and just prior to appearing on the No Slow...All Go! compilation of Minneapolis punk groups. Guitarist Sloan Lorsung immediately joined Dillinger Four on second guitar before becoming a member of Man Afraid. Read more about Bombsite on Last.fm.
