The band started as and instrumental band with roots in classic and alternative rock, jazz and blues. Following the additions of Michael DeLouker on drums and Adam Thomas on lead vocals the band was named Blue Ruin. Minneapolis, MN, USA (2012 - present) Human Kindness (Hue McKindness, HK, H McK) is a punk rock and roll band from Minneapolis, MN, USA. HK has been described as "melody-focused, occasionally experimental, and perfectly abrasive, with crunchy bass riffs, washes of guitars, high-energy solos, and emotive, no-holds-barred vocals." It's music for both a black eye and a consolatory hug. HK self-recorded and released their unmastered, debut EP You Are So Loud That I Want to Die in January 2014. Yes, we wrote our own Last.fm page.
