The Growlers
From Costa Mesa, California
First Twin Cities show since since September 25, 2012 • First Entry show since May 30, 2011 • Third Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since May 30, 2011
From last.fm:
Take 5 southern california guys, mix in some surf, stone, and psychedelic, throw them in a haunted mansion in west hochiminster and with a little luck, you might get a band like The Growlers. The bands name comes from lead singer Brooks Nielsen and guitarist Moustache Matt. One day Brooks came home and Matt was takin a big growler in the outhouse and the rest is history. Watch some footage of old Wind N Sea Surf Club back in the 70's and you might get a taste of what this band's live shows are like. Read more about The Growlers on Last.fm.
Jaill
From Milwaukee, Wisconsin
First Twin Cities show since since July 17, 2012 • First Entry show since January 13, 2011 • Fourth Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar since January 13, 2011
From last.fm:
Jaill is a garage/psych-pop combo from Milwaukee, Wisconsin formed in 2002. Jaill is a lot like other bands; they've slept on your floor, you've made fun of their pillow cases, they're not nearly as good at Excitebike as they said they were and although they all say they're cool with cats, no ones excited about sleeping at the cat house. So it should come as no surprise that, as bands sometimes do, they’ve made a new record. Read more about Jaill on Last.fm.

Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas
From Detroit, Michigan
First Twin Cities show on MN Live's calendar
From last.fm:
Jessica Hernandez is a singer-songwriter — but not THAT kind of singer songwriter. She has Latin roots, but we're not talking Selena or Shakira here. She's got soul (Hernandez does come from Motown, after all), but is not cookie-cutter contemporary R&B diva. She can be as heartfelt and melodic as any pop singer out there, but she doesn't sound like a one of them. So if you're trying to peg Hernandez — good freakin' luck. Our advice instead is to just sit back and enjoy the kind of rare Read more on Last.fm
