The Sunny Era is a three piece multi-instrumental and vocal ensemble that fuses Experimental Music, Indie Rock, Romani, and Spanish styles. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the group is made up of Eric Stainbrook, who sings and plays classical guitar, electric guitar, and theremin; Laila Stainbrook, who plays violin, accordion, and piano; and Rob Foehl, who plays percussion. Bomba de Luz is a group of four high school students from St. Paul, MN. They began playing small shows at their high school's small theater. From there on, they have played two festival shows and their name continually grows. Lead by folk rock songwriter, Lydia Hoglund, the trio of jazz musicians including Gavin Taylor-Stark, Jonas Taghavi, and Evan Slack create an atmosphere of jazz-folk. Beginning in 2005, Thomas Maddux began to play with minor chords and darker tones. This came to fruition in 2010 with the release of the Circus EP as El Le Faunt. Joining him now is His Traveling Circus which is composed of Cody D. Fitzpatrick I on Percussion, Charlotte Matis on Mandolin and Fiddle, Tom Reinert on Bass, Aleko Loughrey on Guitar, Jonah the Destroyer on Melodica, Clarinet, and Saw, Turkeyes Laffity with her back-up vocals, and Tyler Nordmark on Brass.
